I have two Minut noise monitors installed in the backyard near the pool. They are attached to the ceiling of the covered area by the sliding glass door. We have these because the City of Austin has extremely strict neighborhood noise ordinances for short-term rentals and requires us to ensure guests remain responsible. If these monitors are tampered with or removed, we receive an immediate notification, so please do not touch them. Unfortunately, because of unlicensed rentals disturbing neighborhoods, these ordinances have had to be enacted.
These noise decibel monitors measure sound levels and how long the noise lasts, but they do not record audio or video. They are located outside only—we do not have any noise monitors inside the house.
