Rise and shine! We have beautiful sunrises in the mountains.
Our Sweet Sunrise master bedroom is the perfect retreat for any couple. With a king size bed and private en suite with large walk-in closet, you’ll have the space you need to unwind and enjoy every sunrise. Your en suite is complete with a soaking tub, standing shower and sprayer, make up cloths, and your own locally made soap.
Just off of the Game Room, our terrace level Sweet Outdoors bunk room has 3 twin beds and space to connect your kiddos video game consoles or for them to use their imaginations and play with toys and draw.
Our Sweet Retreat bedroom on the terrace level with a queen bed and view of the backyard, provides a restful retreat just steps from the hot tub. Enjoy the sun as it peaks through the trees each morning and the fireflies as they play outside your window each crisp evening. A shared bathroom for the terrace level is complete with a bathtub/shower, makeup cloths, and it’s own locally made soap.
Our open kitchen overlooking the living room with views of the Blue Ridge mountains outside will inspire your cooking skills. Take advantage of our Sweet Treat station with a WAFFLE BAR to start the day complete with a variety of syrups and waffle mix ready for you to add your fresh ingredients. Or use our MILKSHAKE MIXER to whip up a treat. The COFFEE BAR is stocked with so many ways to enjoy your coffee including drip, pod, pour over, and French press, or enjoy tea with a fast water kettle with temperature settings. Our large pantry provides you with an array of small appliances including crockpot, hand mixer, blender, and toaster while leaving you plenty of room to store your favorite snacks and ingredients. With a gas stove and gas grill on the porch, you’ll be ready to entertain or just enjoy a simple family meal in no time.
Our open living room is the best spot in the house for anyone ready to enjoy the big game, listen to music, throw on some Dry Bar comedic humor, or curl up with some popcorn to watch a movie. Our sofa has a sweet surprise too! ;-) Reveal the high head rests while you lounge to fully enjoy the gas FIREPLACE with just a flick of the switch. Come Christmas time, our mantle is ready for stockings and a tree will be ready and waiting for you.
Our dining room has the best view from inside the house. So whether you’re eating waffles, cereal, or a Thanksgiving feast, you’ll see the beauty of God’s majestic creation outside. With our year long gorgeous Ellijay weather, open the sliding doors or eat at one of our outdoor dining tables on the upper deck or lower terrace patio.
#SweetView is on 2 acres and is mostly wooded for privacy. Enjoy the fenced outdoor space that is ready for you, little kiddos, and even fur-family. Dog bowls and poo bags are ready for you. Bring out the cornhole set to enjoy the fresh mountain air and make your days complete with a soak in the hot tub. Make forever memories around our 8 foot long picnic table with something fresh off the grill or picked at one of our local farms. Sip some local wine and sit in our locally crafted adirondack chairs around the fire pit on those brisk Ellijay evenings in our secluded backyard and terrace level patio. NO CATS; the owner is highly allergic.
Please clean up inside and outside after them quickly. (Our neighborhood cat does not need to be taken in, fed, or adopted though she will be so sweet that cat lovers may be tempted).
Guests are required to sign Cherokee Rose Homes Rental Contract prior to their reservation. We love to host guests from out of town who have previously stayed in short-term rentals and earned favorable reviews.
This space has been prepared for guests traveling from out of town. While we appreciate all interested in staying with our property, please note that we do not cater to guests who live in the area and are looking for an alternate venue for their affairs or events and reserve the right to turn these guests away.
Firewood is not provided. Please coordinate with us before your arrival if you would like to purchase some firewood for your stay. There will be a $500 fine for fires left unattended or fires that were not put out prior to leaving or retiring for the night. We don't want any embers to be blown over to the nearby trees/woods or anything that can potentially set it on fire.
