The neighborhood offers a quiet, forested setting within convenient reach of the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest, the Nooksack River, scenic drives, hiking trails, and year round mountain recreation. Mt. Baker Ski Area is an easy drive for winter skiing and snowboarding, while warmer months bring opportunities for hiking, river adventures, photography, and exploring nearby alpine lakes.
The small community of Glacier has a limited selection of local restaurants, coffee, groceries, and seasonal businesses. Larger grocery and supply runs are best completed before traveling farther east along Mt. Baker Highway.
