This cozy, 1600 sqft 3bd/2ba fully furnished home, sleeps 6 comfortably and is just the right size for the PERFECT RETREAT whether you are a large family, a few couples, or a group of guys or gals just looking to get away for some much needed and well deserved peace and quiet. This roomy lake house faces West so you will be able to enjoy beautiful sunsets over the crystal clear spring fed waters of Lake Hawkins from either the large 14' deck that runs the full length of the house, from the 65' private boat dock, or in colder weather sitting in the spacious living room by the wood burning fireplace looking out of the picture windows. There are plenty of places for 6 guests to sleep comfortably. The master bedroom, with a master bath and window overlooking the lake, has a huge king size bed, the first guest room also has a great view of the lake and contains a queen size bed, while the second guest room is furnished with a full size bed. Amenities, such as, towels, bedding, and toiletries are provided for your convenience. A fully equipped kitchen is available for those who love to cook and just dine in. The covered front porch is furnished with a grill, table, chairs, built-on bench seating, and allows plenty of room for barbequing or just to sit out and enjoy your morning cup of coffee. Or better yet, you fellow anglers may want to carry your coffee and a fishing pole down to the dock and start your morning off with a bit of fishing. A large water frontage adds plenty of space for setting up for swimming or lounging. We also enjoy relaxing under the stars listening to all the lake sounds while roasting marshmallows over the fire pit. The lake house is only 4 miles from HWY 80 and just a short drive from Tyler, Mineola , Gladewater, Lindale, and Canton TX and lots of antique shops, restaurants, theatres, wineries, golfing, fishing, and local entertainment. Or if you prefer to stay close, there are several restaurants, a grocery store, a golf course, and local shops to enjoy.
