Looking for a relaxing fall/winter lake getaway? Look no further than our newly renovated Indian Lake waterfront cottage. Waterbury Cottage is located in the quiet Waterbury community on Dunn's Pond. Walk out our back door to enjoy a day of fishing, boating, kayaking, swimming, and so much more. In the cooler months a propane heater on the back deck, fire pit out by the water, and the fire place inside will keep you warm. Waterbury Cottage is the perfect location for a quiet and cozy get-away no matter the time of year.
Inside our cozy blue cottage you will find a unique front porch bedroom giving a fun cabin/camping vibe. The second bedroom is a twin daybed with trundle. The master bedroom is equipped with a queen bed. Fall asleep looking up at the stars in the backroom twin daybed with trundle. This space is also a perfect relaxation spot during the day while looking out at the water.
The kitchen is fully stocked including a full size refrigerator, compact size range, microwave, and dishwasher. Pots and pans, dishes, bakeware, toaster, coffee maker, blender, gas grill, and more also available to help you feel right at home.
Bring your boat and dock it in our boathouse or rent a boat from nearby Spend-A-Day Marina. Feel free to take our 2 kayaks out on the water or enjoy our 15' x 6' water mat.
* Waterbury Cottage is the perfect family vacation get away but it is not child proof and may not be suitable for young children (5 and under).
** If bringing your personal boat it must arrive to our cottage by water. The roads leading to our cottage are too narrow for a boat and trailer to come through. Moundwood Boat Ramp is 2 miles away. Also, we do not have space for storing a trailer on our property.
*** Waterbury Cottage is for humans only so pets must stay at home. We want you to make unforgettable memories and have as much fun as we do at the cottage. We have wonderful friendly neighbors. For most this is their permanent residence. We ask that you respect them and their homes with no parties, loud disturbances, or unruly behavior. Voices carry off the water and our homes are close together. Because of this, our quiet hour policy is from 10:00pm - 8:00am. Failure of this agreement could result in immediate removal from the property with no refund for remaining days of reservation. Crack open a beer, enjoy a cocktail, sing songs by the fire, play yard games, tickle your kids so they scream with laughter, and be good neighbors.
