Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The hotel was very good and at a good price point. It was nearly new (writing as of Jan 2026). The staff was exceptional. We enjoyed the breakfast. The location was exceptionally quiet although close to the highway.

Negative: It could be the hotel was so new some kinks were still being fixed that were kind of uncomfortable. We had the bad experience of the smoke alarm going off for no reason in our room. The shower was not well put together... some kind of metal bar in the shower that made annoying amount of noise, and the door kept sliding open. Also the water sounds overnight were quite loud from other rooms, and the water pressure was actually excessively high. I assume all that will get resolved within a few months but I had to knock off a couple stars for these things.

Summary: Overall we were very pleased with our stay, in particular we thought the staff was just great
