If your looking to just get away for a weekend or to take the kids to a vacation location where there is plenty to do for a full week, this is the best place to stay. There is Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls, Linville Caverns, Sugar Mountain Snow Skiing, Golfing, Rock Climbing, Hiking, Fishing, Rafting, Canoeing, all within a 10 mile radius. Our cottage has a fully equipped kitchen for your use and two large porches with rocking chairs to just sit and listen to the rushing river less than 10 feet away.
