Summary: We were really blown away by the Mokara. The staff from concierge to valet to spa to housekeeping could not have been more lovely. The room was wonderful as well, although the room heat didn't seem responsive on our last day (it was November and maybe the hotel heat wasn't turned on yet?). The bed was stupendously comfortable (to the point where we looked it up). We didn't realize we got spa access with the room - that alone is a HUGE bargain. Yes, the valet is expensive but there are in/out privileges and in the end we were happy we paid for it. The location is amazing, especially if you are overlooking the riverwalk.
