The striking blue color of the Bay can be seen through the large & prominent oak trees serving as the back drop landscape from the deck. In the winter when the foliage is snow capped, the blue of the bay is more prominent. In the summer the activity on the lake creates a unique energy & magnetism. Enjoy it while entertaining on the expansive deck or make your way to the lake trail to explore.
In addition to the location & peaceful surroundings, the house has other unique features. The design of the home incorporates the vivid blues of the lake similar to the London Blue Topaz gemstone, known for creating a sense of calmness & comfort. The name “La Casona” comes from the original La Casona estate located in the town of Arada, Santa Barbara, in Honduras where the family dries the coffee crop harvested on the property in the courtyard each year. The gardens & treed surroundings are a familiar landscape to the original La Casona.
