This expansive Intown Atlanta home was built in 1925 and is three stories with bedrooms and bathrooms on each floor. The home sleeps 12 in real beds across the 6 bedrooms. An abundance of windows keeps the home bright and inviting and there there are two fireplaces that are charming but decorative.
Main Floor: The front door opens into a roomy living/kitchen/dining area which will become the main hang-out area. The living room has a sectional sofa and TV with Roku and all streaming services and cable channels via YouTubeTV. The kitchen features a huge island, large dining table and restaurant-grade appliances! Tons of cooking gear and a nice array of spices & oil is supplied. A coffee maker, filters, coffee, tea and other beverage goodies are provided. There are enough plates, glasses, bowls, and silverware to serve 12. The Wolf stove has 6 burners and 2 ovens. For pancake lovers, we offer an electric skillet. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms on the main floor. Each bedroom on the main floor has one bed (a Tuft & Needle King, a Kingsdown Queen, and a Kingsdown Queen). Two of the main floor rooms remain somewhat dark in the mornings, while the King bedroom on this floor lets in natural light. There is also a full-size washer dryer in the main floor Laundry Room. One of the Queen bedrooms on the main floor has a Roku connected TV.
Upstairs: The Master Bedroom and a Children's Bedroom are on the top floor and share one spa-like bathroom. The Master bedroom with King Tuft & Needle bed has a massive en-suite bath, a Juliette balcony and a view of a lush tree canopy overlooking the backyard. The Master has doors that go to the Juliette balcony but there are curtains for privacy. There is a new Roku-enabled TV in the Master Bedroom. The Master Bathroom is truly spectacular: There is a dual-head shower for two and a large bathtub. Just outside the Master is a children's bedroom with 2 twin beds, a twin floor mattress, and a pack and play. Skylights in both rooms provide natural light and gentle moonlight.
Basement: The basement features an in-law suite and quiet escape. It's a studio apartment set-up with Kingsdown Queen Bed, living room, kitchenette, fridge and private bathroom. The basement suite connects to the main house via an internal staircase and also has its own entrance to the backyard. The basement is perfect for the guest who needs to relax as it doesn't have wifi or television. It does have cell service, so you won't be completely cut off from civilization!
Bed Summary
3 Tuft & Needle brand Kings, 2 Kingsdown brand Queens, 2 Twins, 1 Twin cot, and 1 pack and play. Each real bed is in its own room. The cot and pack and play are easily moved around so that your little ones can sleep with you in your room. We also offer a twin cot with a mattress and sheets by request. The bedroom doors close tightly but they do not lock due to the antique nature of the doorknobs. The twin cot is only by request 5 days before check-in.
Bathroom Summary
The three King bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. Two of the Queen bedrooms and the Twin bedroom share hallway bathrooms. The basement studio apartment has its own bathroom with a shower. There are two bathtubs, one in the Upstairs Master and one on the main floor.
Outdoor Space: You will have your own private, fenced-in backyard with a large, two-level deck. There is patio furniture and you may even enjoy having a meal outside since the weather in Atlanta is pretty nice most of the year. Feel free to bring a croquet set or a ball to throw around. We offer a propane BBQ grill and grilling tools.
Parking: There is a driveway with two parking spots that you may use at all times. Additional cars will have no trouble finding free street parking in the evenings. Workday street parking between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. can be tight due to the offices in the area, but is generally available and free. There is a paid deck one block north which is also a good option for people who require covered parking.
Occupancy: Capacity is 12 people. We have a twin cot and a thin twin floor mattress for overflow guests. Infants from birth to 1 year of age do not count towards the guest count. Children are considered ages 2 through 12. Adults are considered age 13 and up. Let us know how many adults, children, and infants will be in your group.
Three HD TVs with YouTube TV and Roku are provided. Guests can also log into their own Netflix or other streaming services via the Roku interface. YouTube TV has all the major channels including ESPN, local TV and cable news networks.

Guests will have access to the entire home including the laundry room, driveway and the large backyard with upper and lower decks! This pricing on Airbnb for this home is intended to be used for overnight stays and therefore, Events and Parties are allowed with an event contract and are subject to extra fees. We will consider filming in the home as well but need to know the name of your production company and details about your shoot. Extra filming fees apply.
Accessibility details:
- The front entrance to the house has a few steps. Once inside, the house is quite accessible.
- The living/dining/kitchen/laundry is all level with hard floors. This single-level living area features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One of the bathrooms has a tub with hand-held shower head. The other bathroom is compact and features a stand-up shower with a fixed shower head.
- The other 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are accessible via staircases only. The basement bedroom does have a level back access from the street; however, the bathroom of that bedroom has 3 steps to enter.
- We offer a commode chair by request that can be placed in a bedroom. The guest is responsible for emptying that item.
Add-on to an overnight stay - daytime event fees: Parties that will finish up by 6 p.m. and have a maximum of 50 people. We can host this type of daytime event for a $400 event fee. That fee will include a home inspection after the event, pick-up of bagged trash, and an on-call event assistant. With this add-on to your stay you could host a bridal shower, baby shower, children's birthday party, or graduation party, as examples. This is booked in addition to an overnight stay.
Add-on to an overnight stay - evening event fees: Parties that will start after 6 p.m. and have a maximum of 50 people will be an $800 event fee. That fee will include a home inspection both before and after the event, pick-up of bagged trash, and an on-site event assistant. With this add-on to your stay you could host a retirement party, birthday party, product launch party, or graduation party, as examples. This is booked in addition to an overnight stay.
If you do not need an overnight stay, that is fine. We can build you a custom quote to rent the house for your event. Events must be finished by 11 p.m. and cleaned up by midnight.
(A party is considered having people spend the night that are not on the reservation, or having more than two guests over for a visit that are not on the reservation. If I can walk in the house and notice that there are more people there than are supposed to be it is a party and we should have signed an event/party agreement.)

• This can be a car-free Atlanta experience if you want it to be! There is a lot of cool stuff to in walking distance: The BeltLine, Ponce City Market, Krog Street Market, Inman Park, Virginia Highlands, the Carter Center Presidential Library, funky shops, and more!
• This neighborhood of Atlanta has it all! In Poncey Highlands, you can walk to coffee shops, bars & restaurants. Majestic Diner, San Francisco Coffee, Manuel's Tavern and Atkins Park - all examples of the amazing places you can frequent while staying at our place. It's an easy 20-minute walk to Ponce City Market for endless food and shopping. The AmericasMart, Georgia World Congress Center, Georgia Tech and Mercedes-Benz Stadium are all less than a 15-minute drive or Uber ride away.
