Sitting on more than 3 Acres of beautiful, natural Bayfront and Marsh, you’ll love the peace and privacy this amazing home offers, as well as being surrounded by abundant Wildlife. Just imagine watching Herons, Eagles, and Egrets fish for their morning meal while you sip your morning coffee. And there's a Brand New Private Pier waiting for you!
As you pull down the winding, tree-lined Lane to the house, you can already feel your worries disappearing. Stroll up the Ramp to the house, enter through the huge Waterfront Screened Porch, and get ready to be left speechless. The Screened Porch lines the entire back of the house and faces the prettiest Bay Views ever. With comfortable furniture for lounging, a Dining Table for dining Al-Fresco with Bay Views, and even a sunken Waterfront Hot Tub, you may never even want to leave this space - but you haven’t seen the inside of House on the Dune yet!
Everything about this Custom Home is unique - the bright, cheerful colors, the eclectic Coastal Decor, and the cool, funky vibe - it all sets the stage for the Vacation of a Lifetime! After a fun-filled day exploring Assateague National Seashore - where our famous Wild Ponies roam free - you’ll love sinking into the brilliant blue sofa and enjoying Free WiFi and Flat Screen Smart TV. We love the Open Layout House on the Dune has - perfect for spending time together without ever feeling crowded. The Soaring Ceilings make the home feel light, bright, and open, and you’ll love how they’re painted to look just like the sky, right down to some billowy clouds!
The Kitchen and Dining Area overlook the Living Area, and off to the Water. The Chef in your family will love how well-stocked the Kitchen is, with all the comforts of home. Mealtime will not feel like a chore with these Stainless Appliances, gorgeous Countertops, and Mosaic Backsplash in Colors of Sea Glass. The spacious Dining Area seats 6, so you can dine in the comfort of Central AC, or on the Porch with that salty, sweet bay breeze. A Gas Grill is located under the House, so enjoying some Cheeseburgers in Paradise won't be a problem!
House on the Dune sleeps 6 in 3 Bedrooms, and with 3 Full Baths. Bedrooms 1 and 2 mirror one another and both have a comfy Queen Bed and Private Master Bath. Bedroom 1 is dressed in sunny yellows, and Bedroom 2 reminds us of a day in the Keys. Both have Private Access to the Waterfront Screened Porch, as well as a Private Master Bath with Custom Walk-in Shower. Both Bedrooms and Bathrooms are ADA Compliant.
Bedroom 3 is upstairs and is an Open Loft Bedroom with a Queen Murphy Bed.You can draw the curtains that surround the Loft when a little extra privacy is needed, and the room acts as another hangout when you don’t need the Murphy Bed - the kids will love it up here! And there is yet another Full Bath with Custom Walk-in Shower. There's also an Outdoor Shower located under the house!
Everything about House on the Dune is an adventure - both inside and out. The Wildcat Community is at the North end of the Island, yet still less than 10 minutes from the Beach, Downtown Main Street Shops and Restaurants, and everywhere you want to be on our Little Island by the Sea. But, this location on the Island is amazing - peaceful and quiet, with virtually no through-traffic.
Whether you enjoy relaxing on the Porch and taking in the Views, or launching your kayaks to explore our pristine waters (Private Pier coming soon - water access limited until that time), you’re sure to love everything about House on the Dune, which is nothing short of magical!
