This central location in the High Country is only one mile from Hawks Nest Snow Tubing and Zip Lines Resort, Otter Falls and Otter Falls Trail (.6 mile hike to the Falls- round trip 1.2 miles), Seven Devils Town Park with a playground, tennis courts, picnic area, and more. Blowing Rock and Boone are both within 11 miles, and the town of Banner Elk is only 8 miles away. The village of Valle Crucis, with its riverfront park, and the original historic Mast General Store, is less than 10 miles away. When not exploring the mountains, guests can take advantage of the many comforts at Top of the Hill, including a gas grill and Traeger Pellet Grill on the patio, a hot tub, and a wood-burning Solo Stove, or the simple bright comfort of the home.
Step in the front door from the patio and experience an aesthetically pleasing living room with lots of seating, pillows, a flat-screen tv, and a gas log fireplace. The kitchen is big and open for creating meals, and the dining area seats six. The entire space is surrounded by windows open to the mountain view.
