We're so grateful that our neighborhood, GameTrail, adjoins the San Isabel National Forest, and all the natural beauty only a few minutes north of town. Incredible hiking just up the road! We really appreciate the quiet, the amazing night skies, the smell of the Colorado pines, the deer and elk by our backyard… mountain joy!

HappyMountainHaus is professionally cleaned and sanitized after guest check out; all linens are laundered in eco-friendly detergent. We do a thorough clean and inspection after guest checkout.*
*Guests may experience extreme weather conditions and wildlife. Our neighborhood contains federally protected trailways for game, so you’ll likely encounter Colorado wildlife such as elk, moose, deer, bears, field mice, prairie dogs, chipmunks, small animal life, & insects in or around the home; although we do employ pest control services, it is still feasible, so please be aware of this, remembering this is part of living amongst Colorado mountain wildlife.
*BV Happy Haus is at an elevation of 8800 feet, so please consider extra hydration & electrolytes if you are traveling from lower elevation. Room humidifiers are provided.

*We value mountain life & adhere to local law. Absolutely no camping or campfires on property, per HOA rules. The propane firepit and gas grill are the only outdoor fires allowed.
*We value a working, healthy plumbing system. Happy Haus has sensitive mountain plumbing and is on a septic system. Please, do not flush tampons or "flushable wipes" - absolutely nothing but pee/poo in the toilets, and no foods/oils/cooking grease down the kitchen sink - put in trash. Tampons must go into trash cans. We have many signs in each bathroom to remind you; if any wipes or tampons are flushed into toilets, it is a pricey problem and you will be held responsible for any plumbing fees.
*We value our charming Swedish hardwood floors & cleanliness. We kindly request that you remove your shoes when you enter the home for the sake of our floors.
