Dock Holiday is the 2nd home at The Places KIOWA of Lake Martin. Lakefront cabin, 1200+SQ.FT, gutted & remodeled. Dock has 3 bed 1 bath, w/ an outdoor shower. Sleeps 6 adults (3 queens) and only 4 kids/teens (loft-beds). DOG FRIENDLY, 3/4fenced yard. Private dock and a floating dock, room to tie up boats. Zero entry area.
UNION Public BOAT RAMP 3min drive on Centerport rd. Same peninsula as Chucks Pizza/Marina.
Outdoor fire-pit, games, huge deck with outdoor seating/dining
New AVAC, plus a mini split in living area and each bedroom has its own extra AC unit. Old houses require back up on AC during summer heat, PLEASE do not go below 68 on any of them, they will freeze and you will have no AC with who knows how long to wait for repair guy.
All our places we provide TP (they are on septic tanks and a special TP is required, if you need more, please ask in a timely manner)
2 Rolls of Paper towels, plenty of trash bags for kitchen under kitchen sink and outside trash bags we offer 4 they are hanging on the outside trash can… ALL trash goes in the BIG NEON GREEN dumpster you pass upon arrival into the property driveway
We provide coffee pods/grounds/filters/sugar/cream/teas
Grills are all charcoal, please do not put wood or cig butts in the grills
Some guests leave behind unused items like sunblock/bug spray/charcoal/lighter fluid/spices/coffees/condiments… These items are there if you would like to use them.
We provide all linens and towels, sometimes things need replacing so what is on pictures may not be the bedding on the bed, we try to keep the color and house scheme. But are subject to change.
*WE HAVE ATTACHED AN accidental DAMAGE POLICY, THE LOWEST ONE $59, this is non refundable OR you can message me and I will add a damage deposit to your booking and refund you the $59 policy. Your damage deposit will be return if you cause no damage. This is your choice
*If you are offered travelers insurance I highly recommend it, when we travel we purchase it always, the insurance company will reimburse you if you need to cancel after the cancellation policy, bad weather, unfortunately events and so on

For check out: we ask the following to be done
1. No trash left behind in any room
2. No dirty dishes, you may load the dishwasher we will gladly put them away
3. Leave beds unmade
4. Put any furniture back that may have been moved
5. All remotes back, if one is missing you will be charged $20, that is how much they cost with shipping
6. IF this is a pet friendly place, we do not charge a pet fee but ask that you clean up after your pet, no poo left behind and no dog hair, if you do not a $50 fee will be charged, or you can leave $50 for our cleaning girl for the extra work
7. Make sure to log out of any streaming apps on the TV
8. Make sure you have double checked for personal items left behind, it is a $20 fee just to take to post office, 45 min drive and then the cost of shipping and packaging
*Leaving door open to home allows ALL the cool air out and in summer it will take hours for it to return, also allows for bugs to come in, especially at the lake
NOTE* all places get Pest control twice a month and yard service, we try very hard to schedule when not rented but some things like yard we cannot. Our guys are quick and know not to come before 10am
DOG owners: 3 max. must bring your own crate, a place will be left open in living room for crate to go.
Dog can not be left unattended or left outside. If you go out for the day then either dog is crated inside or goes with you.
If neighbors complain about non stop barking you will be asked be kind to neighbors, maybe a doggie time out inside.
Everyone deserves the best vacation, y’all and surrounding people. No one enjoys constant barking
Dogs MUST be house trained
We do not charge a pet deposits, however you are in charge of cleaning up anything your pet gets dirty, also cleaning up hair.
If you wish to add on a $50 pet cleaning fee then any pet hair will be handled by cleaning crew. Please inform prior to booking date.
We are not held responsible for your dog or what your dog does to home or to someone else. If your dog/cat does any damage you will be billed with proof of repairs
Please do not use our bathroom towels/kitchen towels or bedding to dry off your pets
Do not use the bathroom tub, instead please use the outdoor shower is a huge area for rinsing off your dog.
Dog blankets will be provided to lay on furniture IE: sofa/chair/beds. There is a wicker basket in living room, inside you will find the dog blankets, dog bowls, etc.. also hall closet
If you bring more than 2 dogs a fee of $100 per dog will be added, extra cleaning fees and repairs will be required also
WE LOVE DOGS!! we have 3 ourselves, some exceptions can be made if you reach out to us, sneaking extra dogs in only makes us not trust, lets not be that way, talk to us and we will see what we can come up with
