Aurrie's Chalet is a fantastic getaway for the whole family! It is newly remodeled. This 4 bedroom mountain chalet sleeps 8-9, is perched along a mountain ridge perfect for the expanding views of the area. An easy incline road makes it simple to access. Just minutes from Helen and all the attractions, including Tantrum Brewing Company- North Georgia's premier brewery as well as all of the local wineries; however, you won't want to leave the wrap around decks and plenty of outdoor space to lounge and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Aurrie's Chalet is geared toward the outdoor lovers in your group -- enjoy the outdoor Flat Screen TV, Lava Rock gas fireplace, or build a campfire in the outdoor wood burning firepit! (Wood is not provided- but can be purchased upon request) Bring back those childhood memories of S'mores and story telling at Aurrie's Chalet! During the summer months, the trees at Aurrie's Chalet are like umbrellas, situated perfectly for outside coverage and privacy, while the back of the chalet still has those amazing mountain views.
Step inside and enjoy the gourmet kitchen area and wood burning stove while watching your favorite game or movies. The King Master bedroom and bath is situated on the main floor with a queen bedroom & twin daybed in the loft area, and 1 additional queen bedroom on the lower area along with two twins so we can accommodate different groups, & next to the living area large enough for the entire group. There is a 2nd guest bathroom on the main floor for the loft. The downstairs living area has a 3rd full bathroom for the 2 guest rooms. The loft bedroom has new mattresses on both beds. The downstairs twins are also brand new mattresses in one room with a new gel foam pad on the queen bed downstairs.
This chalet style home with extended high ceilings and open space offers a spacious yet cozy feel. We are just 100 yards from a trailhead to Mountain Yonah where great hiking and adventure awaits. Welcome to Aurrie's Chalet. Your home away from home!
Aurrie's Chalet has a new Air Hockey Gaming table for Adults and kids to enjoy.
AURRIE'S CHALET NOW HAS A NEW 6 PERSON HOT TUB FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT DOWNSTAIRS ON THE BACK PORCH. . There are also two rocking chairs downstairs as well. In addition, we have added some fun lighting for the downstairs porch area where the hot tub is located. We do not provide beach towels.
