This single level family home is a classic older East Beach Cottage known as "Family Tides"! Located towards the tip end of East Beach, the walk to Goulds Inlet is just a block away! Entering this home you are immediately brought back to a bygone era with the knotty wood paneling, classic tiled bathrooms and wood flooring.
Three bedrooms are down the hallway to the left and are all comfortably furnished with 2 king beds plus bunks and one bedroom with a queen bed. The 4th bedroom with a king bed is on the opposite side of the home off the living area complete with an ensuite bath. This bedroom provides an armoir and dresser to accommodate your personal effects. The kitchen is a throwback style as well with basic appliances limited in size. A dining area separates the kitchen from the living area. The screened in porch on the back is the perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee or an evening cocktail overlooking the large fenced in backyard. Great space for the kids or family pet. A firepit is available for spring and fall/winter outdoor fires!
Please note that this property does have a doorbell camera for security purposes.
There is a Keurig and regular coffee maker for coffee lovers!
A little history about our home: Family Tides is a classic older East Beach Cottage. Many members of the Long Family have lived on “The Island”,since the 40’s! We have owned this beloved cottage since 1982. Our family spent all of our summers at Family Tides when their children were growing up. The grandchildren have also been raised enjoying their time at the beach home. We are so blessed to have made so many special memories at Family Tides, together. Wow, if only our home could talk, you would hearso many wonderful adventures of all our years spent at Family Tides and on this island. This is our family’s “Happy Place”. Now, we would like to share our beloved home and the island with you! Come enjoy this mystical island and our home to make your own memories!
