The stone floor and covered patio offer a view of the Tree waterfall, where the water continues to flow into the Chattooga River, a popular destination for white-water rafting and kayaking.
Surrounded by 73 acres and bordered by the Chattahoochee National Forest, our Cottages are fully equipped and ready to welcome you. We are in the Appalachian Mountain chain in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The land has creeks and views of the distant mountains, ferns, rhododendrons, sourwood trees, where my favorite honey comes from, hardwoods, and native flora and fauna. Splendor Mountain's man-made lake has moving water with the help of underground springs. Banner Lake is a swimming lake, there are many fishing spots nearby.
Relax and read a book on the porch, stroll through the gardens, take a walk in the woods, or visit one of the 3 nearby State Parks: Tallulah Gorge, Moccasin Creek, or Black Rock Mountain. Ask us about trails on the property!
