Summary: This house had an excellent lounging space on an expansive deck and since it is in a secluded area a very impressive view of the stars at night! Kitchen had new appliances and was quite functional. 3 Bedrooms so a good amount of space. The master bedroom is upstairs (very steep and a bit dangerous stairs) - but no bathroom upstairs so careful coming down during the night! Place was cleaned well and was accepting of pets (sign not to leave them alone in the house). Only drawback was the hot tub - which happens to the the focus picture for the house. We would not have come here without it because I filtered only for places with a hot tub. Unfortunately it was powered off when we arrived and at 61 degrees. Maintenance said a hot tub should heat about 5 degrees an hour. This one heated about 1-2 degrees an hour, and at the slower end of that as it warms up. After leaving it on for 28 hours, it reached 99 degrees, which feels lukewarm. So we were unable to use it either night. The management did give us a rebate for the non-working tub so we appreciated that but were disappointed for sure. Overall, we had a great trip and really loved the area - so much to do and see in the Finger Lakes region.
