Blowing Rock Cabin | Hot Tub, Fire Pit, Fall Views | House in Blowing Rock
3 Bedroom House in Boone, Blowing Rock
A three-bedroom cabin tucked into the woods between Boone and Blowing Rock — with a private hot tub, a stone fire pit, two decks, and front-row seats to the best show in the mountains: fall. When the color comes through the High Country in October, it comes right through this property, and the hot tub sits looking straight into it.
Seven minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway, five to Tweetsie Railroad. Sleeps six, pet friendly
The drive up the Parkway is one of the best foliage runs in the state, and it starts minutes from the front door. Come back to a fire in the pit, cider on the deck, and the hot tub under cold, clear mountain stars. Downtown Blowing Rock`s shops and Bass Lake are ten minutes out; Boone and App State, seven.
The Space — Knotty Hideaway sits on a quiet wooded lot in the High Country corridor, close enough to reach downtown Boone in about seven minutes and Blowing Rock in ten, far enough that what you hear at night is wind and birdsong. The layout is built for groups that want to be together without being on top of each other.
Main level — a queen bedroom with a full bath just steps away, plus a second bedroom with two twin beds. The kitchen opens to a dining table that seats ten, with bar seating for four more.
Upper level — the king master suite, with its own bath, a TV, and a reading nook that gets the good afternoon light.
Lower level — the game room: sectional sofa, Xbox, foosball, board games, and a TV. This is where the group ends up on a cool evening.
Sleeping for six: one king, one queen, two twins. Four beds, three bedrooms, two full baths. The kitchen is fully stocked — Keurig with coffee, tea, and pods; a complete cookware set; spices; stainless appliances.
The Outdoors — Two decks, used differently: the upper one for coffee and the morning view, the lower one for the grill and the hot tub. The hot tub is private, set against the treeline. The stone fire pit is stocked and ready — bring marshmallows. In fall, this is the whole reason to book.
Getting Around & Things to Know — The driveway parks four to five vehicles. Getting here is straightforward most of the year; from December through March we recommend AWD or 4WD. Pets: two dogs maximum, $50 per dog, crated in the provided kennel if left alone. Hot tub: swimwear only, test strips provided. Trash goes bagged in the bins by the driveway — we share the mountain with bears.
