Summary: My family and I rented The Pond House for the Christmas weekend. We had a great experience! The property manager was amazing and addressed any and all questions/ concerns before and during our trip. They had the house decorated for Christmas, which was convenient. The house was very drafty, but they provided plenty of blankets and the wood fireplace in the kitchen was great! We also brought some space heaters to warm the rooms up. The only major complaint we had was the slow internet connection. The rooms have smart TVs, but the internet connection is not strong enough to be able to enjoy any of them. The house is very spacious and we had more than enough space for our entire group of 16 (ages 2-62). There were 15 beds across all 7 rooms plus couches in the basement. They provided sheets, blankets, towels, wash cloths, toilet paper, paper towels, dishes, trash bags, pre-chopped wood, laundry detergent, dish washing soap, and hand soap, which was very convenient. The foosball table in the basement was a lot of fun! The location is less than 20 minutes from the Massenutten resort and we were able to enjoy activities there. 4.5/ 5 stars overall. I would definitely recommend.
