Summary: I’m rating two stars: one for free parking and the second for location. Otherwise, there is much to be improved here. We stayed in room 202 which doesn’t seem to have any improvements made since the 60’s. If it was well maintained this would be fine. But that wasn’t the case. When the people in the room above us would flush their toilet, the bathroom sink in our room would gurgle so loudly it woke us up. The tub filled with the shower so by 10 minutes in we were standing in 5 inches of water. As the hotel is minimally staffed, at check-in we were told that if we needed housekeeping or additional items, we would need to contact the front desk when they were there. The pool area had broken glass in it twice during our stay which was unfortunate for the safety of all the guests. If the property was closer to $100 a night some of these things may be overlooked however it was a relatively expensive stay for 3 nights and I expected more.
