There is no rental home closer to downtown Helen than our place!!! Enjoy the views and sounds of downtown Helen from a large entryway deck or private balcony off the living room in the upper unit and a semi-private balcony in the lower unit..

The property is located within a 60 second walk from Main Street between the Georgia Mountain Coaster and Paul's Steakhouse.
If you have never been to Helen before you are in for a treat. It is a Bavarian style town with great beer halls and bars, restaurants, shopping, nature oriented adventures and a ton of family fun activities. By law all architecture must be Bavarian in style, even the fast food joints! In addition, if you want to explore the surrounding areas the natural wonders are incredible for hiking, waterfalls, kayaking, swimming, fishing, golfing, vineyards, etc. During the summer, people tube right down the river in front of our cabin. There are large lakes with public beach access close by and many festivals throughout the year. Helen is the 3rd most visited town in Georgia despite having only 500 full time residents.
This listing is for the upper unit living quarters, upper patio, upper balcony and dedicated unit parking space. There is one vehicle allowed per unit, not per guest. Also note no RV's or trailers due to our steep driveway entrance. Any normal car, SUV or truck will work fine.

Our property is a two unit cabin, this listing is for both the upper unit and the lower unit which are not connected via the interior. Each unit has their own private entrance and balcony and the upper unit also has a large deck. There are some stairs from the driveway leading to the cabin entrance, which are not handicap accessible.

Without hesitation we can tell you our cabin is stunningly beautiful with outstanding décor and conceptual design throughout. The great room is wide open and gorgeous with beautiful wood craftsmanship and décor along with gleaming hardwood floors with custom design work. The ceilings are vaulted with sky lights giving it a bigger feel than the actual size. It is true Bavarian style ski chalet from the outside and an extraordinary updated cabin filled with charm and character on the inside. You can hear and see the river from our property. The expansive downtown views are excellent year round, but when the leaves drop the elevated views of downtown Helen below our property are amazing. The great room also includes a large HDTV with streaming services and board games and books for those rainy days.
☆☆ UPPER UNIT BEDROOMS + BATHROOMS ☆☆
The property has a king bed with lovely wooden post bed frame designed with your comfort in mind. Additionally, the bedroom contains a large dresser and mirror and a large wardrobe with room for unpacking and also enclosing a large HDTV with streaming services. The unit is also equipped with a queen size blow up mattress with pump for additional guests.
Note if you are a very light sleeper you may wish to bring ear plugs as you can hear some hustle and bustle from town on the weekends at certain times of the year. We provide a floor fan and sound machine for some white noise as well.

This unit has a full kitchen and dining area that offers plenty of room for a family dinner that is open to the great room and is outfitted with all the cookware, dishes, utensils, dishwasher pods and appliances you will need to cook delicious meals. The dining table can seat up to four people.

The primary living area is bright, with an open, studio style floor plan approximately 700 sq ft.

In the living space is a free standing Jacuzzi tub between the bed and the TV in the open studio space so you can watch TV while in the tub, in the bed, or in the living space. Indoors is an extraordinary updated cabin filled with charm and character on the inside. You can hear and see the river from our property. The expansive downtown views are excellent year round, but when the leaves drop the elevated views of downtown Helen below our property are amazing. The living area also includes a large HDTV with streaming services and board games and books for those rainy days.
The unit is beautifully decorated and very romantic for couples. You will find it to be furnished for a very comfy stay with everything you need.

The en-suite bathroom is open to the main room with a huge walk in shower that is made for two people with two shower heads and a seating bench in the shower. So when you shower it can be seen from the open studio style setting and was say this for privacy awareness. There is a closed in separate toilet closet with a door for privacy
***Note if you are a group of 4 adult friends understand the internal lack of privacy you face with this interior layout which is geared for romantic couples and sleeping 4 people is a tight fit requiring the kitchen table to be moved to make room for the air mattress.
